Ms. Barrick’s TK class has been reading all about transportation. From boats, to trains, to unicycles… We’ve been learning about all kinds of things that go.
This week the focus was boats, and where they can take us! We read books about boats, sang songs about boats, and even built our own boats!
When building boats, our focus was on the idea of what keeps something afloat. we did lots of investigations with items from around our classroom, to see if they were sinkers or floaters. The kids made predictions and drew conclusions! Even our tiniest of learners can do science!
