Happy St. Patrick's Day 2025!! Some of our Lumberjacks were fortunate enough to enjoy some Irish dancers!
Carroll-Henderson School of Irish Dance ☘️

Bonner’s littlest lumberjacks got busy in the kitchen today, with the help of some of the 8th grade student council members!
Many hands make light work, is a saying Mrs. C likes to use in her classroom. And today many hands were busy at work in the FACS room, making homemade pizzas! It was a wonderful morning filled with learning, laughter, and fun.
Mrs. C’s class earned a whole class reward and voted to have a pizza party. Rather than purchasing premade pizzas, they turned it into a morning of fun the kitchen. Four 8th grade student council members helped these tiny lumberjacks roll, stretch, and press their homemade pizza dough into perfect kid sized pizzas! They picked their favorite toppings and lovingly placed each pepperoni, black olive, or piece of cheese atop their pizza. And then the hardest part- waiting for them to cook!
All of their patience paid off, and the TK kiddos got to enjoy their very own pizza for lunch back in Mrs. C’s classroom. There were smiles all around and the kids seemed to enjoy their lunch in a special way— since they worked so hard to make it.
“This is my favorite day!” “This pizza is delicious!” And “I’m a good cook!” are just a few comments from the kids as they ate! This is sure to be a day to remember for both the TK kiddos and their 8th grade helpers.

Kindergartners made a cloud finder to observe and learn about clouds during a recent weather study. They found cirrus and cumulus clouds.

Third grade has been learning a lot from our nutrition guest speaker, Miss Alyssa from MSU. This week, we learned about the Dairy food group, and discussed different beverages. We were surprised to see the amount of added sugar in our everyday drinks!

Bonner Middle School band students had a fantastic time this week at the Mass Band Festival. Students from five schools gathered together to rehearse and put on an afternoon concert. Percussionists also prepared and performed a bucket drumming piece. It was a great experience for band members and a wonderful opportunity to play and work with other musicians!
