Parents of 3rd-8th graders! We have a few big weeks of testing ahead.
Kids all across the state, including ours, will be taking the Smarter Balanced Assessments in the coming weeks. Your child will be taking this computer based summative assessment in the areas of English and Math. 5th & 8th Graders are also taking the Science Assessment.
Each grade will be testing over a period of two week with apx one hour of testing each day. It is imperative that your child is here during testing. Attendance is important! Students who are not here during testing will have to miss class time to make up the assessment. It’s also important that your child eat healthy fulfilling meals and get a good night’s rest prior to each testing day. Our lumberjacks are going to do great!
