49 4th & 5th grade students earned the honor roll trip to Currents 3rd quarter! Congratulations! Hard work pays off!
We are finding text features in nonfiction books. We are also matching definitions and pictures to the text features! So much good work going on here!!!
Wednesday was our trip to Philadelphia! Student saw the Liberty Bell and toured the room where the Declaration was signed AND Constitution was formed. Other sites included Ben Franklin's grave, the US Mint, and the tunnel to Ben Franklin's House. Lunch was cheesesteaks and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe! Our students have represented our school and state well!
On Tuesday students visited Capitol Hill, the White House, and the Lincoln Memorial. Mrs. Bagby and I also had the chance to tour the Gettysburg Battlefield. Later this school year students will get the chance to ponder Lincoln's question from his famous address: if our nation, or any nation dedicated to the ideals of the Declaration, can endure. I do know for it to thrive, it will require our children to be dedicated citizens. We hope this trip helps instill that! -Mr. Huisken

Today we experienced a thunderstorm while visiting Arlington National Cemetery. As I stood under an amphitheater shelter dodging the pea-sized hail, I thought about the sentinels who, regardless of conditions, stand guard over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I hope our 22 Eighth Grade students had the chance to reflect as well. -Mr. Huisken
Bonner's Close Up crew 2024 visited the natural mall today and holocaust museum. After a little bit of a rough travel day everyone was feeling great and in good spirits today!

We had a fantastic time in the Five Valleys Honor Band this year, rehearsing with students from various schools, going on tour and performing for people in the surrounding areas of Missoula. We had two awesome Bonner students participate in the group this year, and I am so proud of them!
Mrs. Trump's TK class started a unit about animals. We are starting off the unit by talking about our favorite animals and practicing our fine motor skills by building them out of Playdoh. Once students were done building, they shared with their peers about their creations.
TK is so much fun!!
Congratulations to our Battle of the Books teams! I am so proud of all the work each of them put into the competition this year.
