Go Lady Jacks!
Girls Basketball 2024
Our 5th graders participated in the Montana Masonic Foundation's Kindles for Kids program through the month of February. Reading books and earning tickets for a random drawing in their classes. Congratulations to our two 5th grade winners this year!
Mrs. Vogel's first grade class had a wonderful visit to the Montana Natural History Center. The students became "skull detectives" by identifying various animal skulls by looking closely and using different animal features as clues.
Mrs. Zentgraf's 3rd graders had a tasty fraction lesson this week! We used Cheeze-Its to help us understand fractions on a number line.
Hello Bonner Families! See the attached flyer for details on FREE FOOD over spring break!
Missoula Food Bank & Community Center is excited to share the Fresh Food Box delivery program as a resource for Bonner families! Fresh Food Box is a once/month delivery program on the last Thursday of each month, containing a rotating variety of fruits, vegetables, dairy, bread, and proteins. Customers pay $7 for a small box, or $15 for a large box, or if paid with SNAP dollars, $4.25 for a small box, and $10.75 for a large box. All customers receive their first delivery free of charge. Though this is a paid-for program, customers will receive food at a more affordable cost than what they'll find at grocery stores, with the added convenience of home deliveries. Customers must be home to receive their delivery for proper food safety. Deliveries happen 9am-noon, and 5-7pm upon request. Click here for more information and an application: https://5il.co/2fua6
Students in 4N have been working hard on researching their favorite Montana animal. They wrote reports and then created a presentation to share with the class. 5N also read their reports and left positive feedback for my class to read!
Today thirty-two 7th and 8th grade math students competed at the MCTM Math Contest on the campus of UM! Students took three individual tests and then a team test. It was a great day!

We love to learn through music in 1V!
Happy Valentine's Day! Here are some pictures from our middle school Valentine's dance last Friday 💃🕺🪩
This week our middle school band students participated in the Missoula area mass band festival. Bands from five different schools participated, and worked with two clinicians. We had been preparing music for this festival at our school, and went to the festival to perform it as a large ensemble. After rehearsing, we put on a concert in the afternoon for parents and students. Everyone did a fantastic job-it sounded wonderful!
The last month our TK - 5th grade classes participated in our Bonner Book Bowl. Each class starts with one fiction and one nonfiction book and they vote on their favorite each round. The games were close but ultimately Simon and the Better Bone beat out our other top book, The Penguin of Ilha Grande, by 2 points! Ask your student which book was their favorite from our Book Bowl.
