“ Happy Veterans Day Mr. Al ” a common phrase heard in the Bonner School classrooms and hallways.
The gratitude and honor in this simple phrase means a lot to veterans.
Thank you Bonner students and staff for a great day that will not be forgotten. Special “Thanks” to Mrs. Adam and her class for decorating my office door and Mrs. Burgess
for including Veterans in her class lesson today.
Chief Master Sergeant Al Simons
Retired Veteran &
Technology Coordinator at Bonner School
Mrs. Zentgraf's World Cultures class enjoyed a student led lesson on Russian culture and language.
Our theme for the October door contest was homecoming.
Congratulations to Mrs. Nigh’s 5th grade class room and this month’s big winner!
At Ms. Paden’s breakfast club, students followed verbal instructions while using creativity and collaboration to create “Cutie Spiders” for a fun healthy snack! If you want to try at home, we used 2 cuties, 2 mini marshmallows and 2 mini chocolate chips. (We might have used more marshmallows and chocolate chips to fuel us through the project!)
Happy Halloween! 🎃

We have some super wonderful book characters in our Bonner Library pumpkin patch. Thank you to everyone that brought in pumpkins to decorate our shelves!
The fourth grade recently took a field trip to Maclay Flats with our naturalists from the Montana Natural History Center. They were able to explore the structure and function of various animals, become experts on many different living organisms, and go on a nature hike in search them.
These young men showed true lumberjack grit and battled through lots of adversity as a team but they never gave up. Proud is an understatement.
This is a wonderful way to start my day! Welcome back Lumberjacks!!
The Lumberjack Cross Country season ended on an inspiring note with almost all runners running their fastest paced for the duration of the 2 mile run. Though our team was small, we had lots of heart and were bursting with GRIT! The Jacks XC team worked hard every day of the season with long runs, mountain runs, intervals, and races. Great Job Jacks Runners!
7th graders just finished reading the short story “The War of the Wall” by Toni Cade Bambara. The story is about a painter who comes into a community to paint a new mural, but finds that she is less than welcome. These students wrote six word theme statements about the story, and then used them to create a chalk mural on the sidewalks! Check it out!
Congratulations Bonner Volleyball teams! What a great season!
Thank you for all your hard work!
